Penelope is a vocalist and also sings with the Solomon Sisters. Repertoire includes Jazz, Folk, Pop and Yiddish Cabaret.

THE SOLOMON SISTERS

The Solomon Sisters have performed Yiddish Cabaret at venues including: Soho’s ‘Talk Too Much’ (formerly Raymond’s Review Bar), Makor (New York), Pleasance Theatre (Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2007) and Theatre Royal, Winchester.

In 2007 The Solomon Sisters made their Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut at Pleasance. During the Festival they were invited as guests to perform in ‘Voodoo Vaudeville’ (Assembly Rooms), Mervyn Stutter’s ‘Pick of The Fringe’ (Gilded Balloon) and Nicholas Parson’s ‘Happy Hour’ (Pleasance Courtyard).

2008 The Solomon Sisters recorded an original sound track for 'Beau jest' by James Sherman which ran at Hackney Empire. The production was directed by Susie Mckenna.
